Ordering & Scheduling

Katie's Bakehouse LLC is a small-batch bakery specializing in freshly made desserts. To maintain quality and freshness, a limited number of orders are scheduled each week.

All standard orders must be paid in full before being added to the baking schedule. A maximum of five customer orders are scheduled per week, regardless of the type or quantity of desserts ordered.

When the current week's baking schedule is full, additional paid orders will be scheduled for the next available opening, which may be more than one week away.

After payment is received, customers will receive a personal email confirming their scheduled preparation date and shipping, local delivery, or pickup arrangements.

Standard orders require a minimum of three calendar days' advance notice. Custom cakes require at least 14 calendar days' advance notice and must be approved before an order is accepted.

Submitting payment does not guarantee a particular preparation, shipping, delivery, or pickup date unless that date has been confirmed by Katie's Bakehouse.

Customers who cannot accommodate the confirmed schedule may request cancellation in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.

Important Shipping Information

Selecting overnight shipping at checkout does not mean your order will be prepared or shipped the same day. All desserts are freshly made to order and scheduled according to availability. Once your order is placed and payment is received, Katie's Bakehouse will personally email you to confirm your scheduled baking and shipping date.

Overnight shipping refers to the delivery service used after your order has been prepared and shipped.

 

Payments, Cancellations & Refunds

If the first available preparation date offered by Katie's Bakehouse does not meet the customer's needs, the customer may decline that date and request a full refund before accepting the proposed schedule and before preparation has begun.

Shipping, Local Delivery & Pickup

Nationwide Shipping

Katie's Bakehouse offers nationwide shipping on eligible desserts. Shipping availability and rates are displayed at checkout.

Orders are generally prepared and shipped according to our Monday–Wednesday baking and shipping schedule. Shipping outside this schedule may occasionally be accommodated at the discretion of Katie's Bakehouse.

Selecting an expedited or overnight shipping service does not guarantee same-day preparation or shipment. Shipping transit times begin after the package has been handed over to the carrier.

Shipping dates are confirmed by email after payment is received. Tracking information will be provided when available. Carrier delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by circumstances outside our control.

Local Delivery

Local delivery is available to eligible addresses within our designated delivery area. Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on the delivery location.

Delivery dates and times are arranged by appointment and confirmed directly with the customer.

Local Pickup

Complimentary local pickup is available by appointment at our designated meeting location in Southaven, Mississippi.

Customers will receive their scheduled pickup date, time, and meeting instructions after payment and order confirmation. Please do not arrive for pickup without a confirmed appointment.

Order Changes & Product Availability

All desserts are freshly prepared to order. Requests to modify an order, including changes to flavors, quantities, or other details, must be submitted as soon as possible.

Changes are subject to approval and may not be possible once ingredients have been purchased or preparation has begun. Additional charges may apply to approved changes.

Katie's Bakehouse reserves the right to contact customers regarding ingredient availability, order details, or scheduling concerns. If an order cannot be fulfilled as agreed, the customer will be contacted to discuss available alternatives or an appropriate refund.

Product Information & Allergens

Desserts may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including milk, eggs, wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, and soy.

Customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions should contact Katie's Bakehouse before placing an order. An allergen-free preparation environment cannot be guaranteed.

Product photographs are provided for illustration. Because desserts are handmade, slight variations in appearance may occur.

Customer Communication

Katie's Bakehouse communicates directly with customers regarding order scheduling, preparation, shipping, local delivery, and pickup arrangements.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact and delivery information and reviewing order confirmation emails.

Additional Terms

By placing an order, customers acknowledge the ordering and scheduling procedures described above and agree to the applicable Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy, subject to their rights under applicable law.
