Freshly Baked to Order

All desserts are freshly prepared to order. Standard orders require a minimum of 3 calendar days' advance notice, including weekends. This is a minimum preparation lead time, not a guarantee that your order will be ready or shipped within three days. Actual preparation and shipping dates depend on baking availability and will be confirmed by email after payment is received.

Katie's Bakehouse schedules a maximum of five customer orders per week. When the current week's schedule is full, additional paid orders will be scheduled for the next available opening, which may be more than one week away. If the first available preparation date does not meet your needs, you may decline that date and request a full refund before accepting the proposed schedule and before preparation has begun.

Shipping Schedule

Our regular shipping days are Monday through Wednesday.

Orders placed outside the available preparation and shipping window will be scheduled for the next eligible shipping date, based on baking capacity.

Occasional exceptions may be accommodated at the bakery's discretion but are not guaranteed.

Overnight and Expedited Shipping

Available expedited shipping services and their charges are displayed at checkout based on your delivery address.

Important: Selecting overnight shipping does not mean your order will be baked or shipped on the day you place it.

The shipping service selected at checkout applies to the carrier's transportation time after your order has been prepared and shipped.

Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed by Katie's Bakehouse LLC. Carrier delays, weather, holidays, and other circumstances may affect delivery.

Shipping Confirmation and Tracking

After payment is received, you will receive a personal email confirming your scheduled baking and shipping dates.

Once your order ships, tracking information will be provided so you can follow its delivery progress.

Shipping Restrictions

Shipping availability varies by dessert. Certain products, including custom-decorated cakes and select layer cakes, are available for local pickup or delivery only.

Shipping options displayed at checkout depend on the products ordered and the delivery destination.

Local Pickup and Delivery

Local pickup is available by appointment only at our designated meeting location in Southaven, Mississippi. The pickup date and time will be confirmed after payment.

Local delivery is available to eligible addresses within our designated delivery area. Applicable delivery charges are calculated at checkout.

Custom Cakes

Custom cakes require a minimum of 14 calendar days' advance notice and are subject to approval and availability. Custom cakes are available for local pickup or delivery only.
